# Period

A period is a simple stretch from time with a start and an end.
The model used is the [`akvo.rsr.models.result.IndicatorPeriod`](#akvo.rsr.models.result.IndicatorPeriod)

It is assigned to an [Indicator](indicator.md).
An indicator can have many periods.

When data has to be submitted for an indicator, it is done so using [IndicatorPeriodData](#IndicatorPeriodData).
